Ahmed Toure leads GPL goalking race

Bechem United striker Ahmed Toure scored a hattrick on Saturday afternoon against Bolga All Stars in the Ghana Premier League Week 23 fixture to take his total tally to 12.

The former Kumasi Asante lethal weapon netted in the 11th, 30th and 92nd minute as his side humiliated relegation-bound Bolga All Stars by four goals to nothing at Gyeabour Park in Bechem.

The Ivorian-born Burkinabe striker has now overtaken Ebusua Dwarfs forward Nicholas Gyan who has so far netted 11 goals in the league.

Toure who is having his third spell in Ghana football after two stints with Kotoko has been one of the outstanding players in the Ghana Premier League so far this season.
