West Ham United star Andre Ayew returns to pre-season

Ghana international Andre Ayew has returned to West Ham United after spending the last three weeks on holidays in his native country.

The Hammers record signing will be hoping that he has a better season after a thigh injury truncated his first half of the season.

Ayew could only find the back of the net on 6 occasions in what was relatively a below the par performance.

There are high hopes that this season will be an upgrade of the his first season in England.
