PfaG to host FIFPro Division Africa Congress today

Ghana will host the 11th edition of the FIFPro Division Africa Congress today, July 5, 2017.

Details of an invite presented to starrsportsgh.com indicate the Kempinski Hotel in Accra as the venue for this year’s Unions meeting.

The Congress which is under the auspices of the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (pfaG) is scheduled for the Adlon Ballroom from 9 am prompt.

Representatives of the Division Africa member countries began arriving in the Ghanaian capital on Tuesday.

FIFPro is the worldwide representative organization for professional footballers. Its African wing has 13 member associations namely Ghana, Cameroon, DR Congo, Egypt, Ivory Coast, Morocco, Namibia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Tunisia and Kenya.

The board of Division Africa is led by Secretary General Stéphane Burchkalter.

Meanwhile, the Ghana wing, pfaG, led by Secretary General Anthony Baffoe, will later in the day hold a ceremony to open its new office located inside the Accra Sports Stadium. The Office opening ceremony is set to start at 5 pm.
