I?ll Not Go Backward - Wayo Seini

Professor Alhassan Wayo Seini, one-time second vice-chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who has defected, says he is with the NDC and will not go backward. He told an Accra FM station this morning that he would increase the votes of his new party at the December polls.

?Election is about winning votes and I believe that I am capable of attracting votes for the NDC?, he said. He said with his age and experience in his working life and everything, he could add value to any human institution like a political party.

He said within the eight years that the NDC ruled the country, security was one of its top priorities. The NDC government, he said was the most ethnically balanced government ?we have ever had in this country. Giving the crisis around Africa based on ethnicity, I believe that, the NDC was the party which maintained unity and peace in this country.
