UniBank boss adjudged best Banking CEO

The Chief Executive Officer of uniBank, Felix Nyarko-Pong, has been adjudged as the Banking CEO of the Year 2016 at the 7th Ghana Entrepreneur and Corporate Executives Awards.

The bank’s commitment in its 16 years of operation in supporting to build the country’s economy was one of the main reasons for the award.

The bank is currently tier 1 and the third largest in Ghana.

Mr. Nyarko-Pong told Starr Business the bank deserves the commendation as it has worked hard to reach its current status.

Nyarko-Pong is the reigning African Business Leader; the European Business Assembly recently awarded the bank for its efforts in Ghana’s financial space.

He said the Entrepreneur and Corporate Executives Award was going to spur the bank on to do more to satisfy customers.

He thanked the staff of the bank and urged them to continue the hard work and put smiles on the faces of all shareholders.

Other award recipients included Mr. Kojo Adae-Mensah, Group CEO of Data Bank, Mr. Hendrick Du Preez, Country Manager of Emirates Airlines, Mrs. Freda Duplon, MD Nestle Ghana Limited, Mr. Tor Nyagard, CEO, Dangote cement Ghana.
