17 year old Daniel Agbloe Adzigodi Lomotey extended his goal scoring form for Ghana Premier League leaders, WAFA into the MTN FA Cup after netting to help his side gain a 2-0 victory on the road and progress into the round of 32 of the country's cup tournament.

Fresh from scoring five goals in his last five league games, young Lomotey set WAFA on the way to victory away to third tier side, Alke with the opening goal in the first half of the round of 64 clash at the Ho Sports Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Togo international striker, Komlan Agbegniandan added a second in the second half to seal the win and qualification to the next round for the Sogakofe lads. Agbloe however insists he and his teammates are only focused on working harder than before and not thinking of winning either the league or cup.

"Let's not get ahead of ourselves, we are only a young group of players trying to work hard. Of course it will be fantastic to win the league or FA Cup but we are not thinking of that now," Lomotey said moments after the win in Ho.

"What's most important to us is to keep improving everyday, we have big dreams and we can only get there by only working harder. We will give off our best in all competitions and if we end up winning the league of FA Cup, we will be delighted but that's not our priority," the teenage sensation added.

WAFA continue their league heroics next Wednesday at home to Liberty Professionals on match day 13.
