Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah featured as his team Juventus edge out Bacelona in the UEFA Champions League.

The 27-year-old came off the bench to play a cameo role in his side’s goalless stalemate with the Spanish giants at the Camp Nou on Wednesday night.

Asamoah was introduced in the 88th minute when he came on to replace Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain.

The Ghanaian international however ensured his side held on to their 3-0 advantage to progress to the semi-finals of Europe’s flagship inter-Club competition.

He becomes the second Ghanaian to qualify to the semi-finals of this year’s UEFA Champions League after Thomas Partey also secured qualification with Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night.
