Hearts, Kotoko remain GPL title favourites – Laryea Kingson

Former Accra Hearts of Oak player, Laryea Kingson, says Hearts and Kotoko still remain strong favourites for the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League (GPL) title.

Hearts are currently third on the league standings with 19 points whilst and Kotoko are fourth with 19 points with three match to end the first round of the season.

According the former Black Stars player, he expects Hearts and Kotoko to bounce back very strong moving forward and wouldn’t be surprise if they duo battle it out for the for the league title.

In an interview with In an interview with sportscrusader.com at the launch of the program dubbed “Ghana’s finest 22,” Laryea said:

“Hearts is currently lying third and Kotoko are fourth and we’re almost at the middle of the season and they league is getting very competitive, the ‘smaller’ teams are doing their best but at the end I expect the two heavyweight (Hearts and Kotoko) to be vying for the league title,” he stated.
