MTN partners FERO Mobile to launch a new 4G Smart Phone.

MTN Ghana being the first mobile network operator to offer 4G service has partnered Fero Mobile, a Dubai mobile company, to offer customers this 4G experience by launching the Fero L100 smart.

Speaking at the launch held at the MTN head office, Noel Kojo-Ganson, the general manager for consumer marketing MTN acknowledge the impact
“Today we proudly announce, in partnership with Fero, the launch of the Fero L100; which is an entry point phone affordable smartphone that allows our subscribers to experience the bold new digital world that we have or envisage for ourselves as a business,” he said.

“The L100 is the most affordable 4G-enabled device available to our customers and it remains a stepping stone to more exciting offers MTN has in mind for Ghanaians this year” he added.

Mr. Noel Kojo-Ganson announced the desire of MTN to expand network to enhance customers’ experience.

“MTN Ghana remains committed to leading the delivery of a bold new digital world to Ghanaians and our customers at large. We continue to invest heavily in our network and roll out innovative digital services aimed at meetings the demands of our subscribers”

Besides the 4G/LITE connectivity, the phone runs the current Android version 6, with a 5.0 inch HD display screen with a Dragontrail glass protection. The device also comes with a 2350 MAH battery, 1GB RAM and a 5MP camera in the front to capture some great selfies, as well as a 5MP rear camera.

The regional CEO for FERO mobile, Sandeep Narayanan said the phone is the most affordable 4G device in the market at the moment with a Dragontrail glass protection which increases the durability of the device.

Mr. Sandeep Narayanan further on behalf of FERO Mobile expressed their delight to partner MTN as a conduit to enter the Ghanaian market.

“I would also want to thank MTN for this wonderful opportunity to partner because MTN is the biggest company. And it is always nice to have somebody so big to acknowledge the presence of newcomers” he said.

The smartphone was specifically designed for MTN and are sold at all MTN offices across the nation for GH?299 with a free 1GB data bundle for 6 months.

The Fero L100 and some other brands of Fero phones are available in the market at other sales outlets.
