League champions WA All Stars to leave for WAFA tournament in Senegal

Ghana Premier League Champions WA All Stars will leave for Senegal tonight ahead of the 2017 WAFA tournament.

The WA-based outfit have been invited for the 4-team tournament at the West African country.

WA All Stars were selected as Ghana’s representative for this year’s WAFA tournament after clinching the Ghana Premier League last season.

The team will face competition from Senegal Champions Union Sportive Goreenne, AS Tanda of Cote d’ Ivoire and Barrack Young Controllers from Liberia.

This will be the first time WA All Stars will be participating in the WAFA tournament.

18 players together with team officials will leave the shores of Ghana tonight

WA All Stars League game against Aduana Stars will thus be postponed until further notice.
