Intense pressure mounts on former Ghana Premier League champions AshantiGold, following reports that a three-match ultimatum has been issued to the technical team.

According to assistant coach Yakubu Mambo, the team have been given a three-match ultimatum to move away from the bottom of the Ghana Premier League table.

He further indicated he might resign from his post as the deputy trainer of the club if they lose all three games.

The management of club has ordered the team to record at least two wins in their next three games starting from Bolga All Stars on Sunday.

They WAFA SC and Hearts of Oak are the other matches

"Management have given us three matches to move out of the drop zone. They will do their best for the team as we also look to improve to achieve the set ultimatum," he told Silver FM

"If we fail to to win any of the next three matches, I will be forced to end my role as the assistant coach through resignation."
