Hearts to meet on Odotei’s replacement on Thursday

The board and management members of Accra Hearts of Oak are expected to meet Thursday on who replaces outgoing Managing Director Vincent Odotei. Odotei, the MP for the Dadekotopon made his departure decision of the Hearts MD position public on Sunday after Hearts handed Kotoko 1-0 defeat at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The experienced football administrator is yet to officially write to his employers over his decision any time soon but board member Frank Nelson Nwonkolo says the Phobians are ready to look for his replacement in the coming days.

“Odotei has not officially informed us but going public doesn’t mean he has resigned. But yes still when he does there will be a perfect replacement for the club. Odotei still remains a board if even he resigns from the club as the MD”, he told Starr Sports.

Meanwhile, former Kotoko chairman, Herbert Mensah and former BA United CEO have been tipped as replacement for Vincent Odotei.
