PLB vice chairman calls for 'grooming' for some sports journalists

Vice Chairman of the professional league board (PLB) is calling for grooming of a section of Ghanaian sports journalists in delivering of their duties to enhance sports development in the country.

George speaking in an interview with Kumasi based Kessben FM lauded a section of the media for their role in ensuring development of Ghana sports but stated some will have to be schooled to apt their job.

Mr Amoako admitted there are challenges in the sporting sector especially with the domestic game, the Ghana premier league, the division one league and others but blind criticisms to these challenges is not a way to a solution.

“Some amongst you should be groomed. Criticize constructively, don’t just open your mouth and destroy” Said George Amoako.

“There are challenges so we should help. Some of these journalists when are called on board can’t even do anything or make any significant contribution” He added.
