The New Patriotic Party Member of Parliament for the Lawra constituency, Anthony Karbo has shot down calls for President Akufo-Addo to include officials from other political parties into his government.
Some Civil Society Organisations have called on the President to form an all-inclusive government as he continues to put together his administration.
President Akufo-Addo is yet to appoint anyone to his government outside the NPP family. He has so far named 46 ministers and is yet to make public his deputy ministers.
Speaking to Francis Abban Tuesday on Morning Starr, the former National Youth Organiser of the NPP, said the party has enough competent people to successfully steer the affairs of the nation.
According to him, President Akufo-Addo does not need any outsider to help in the transformation of the economy and the developmental agenda of the NPP.
He added that the elephant family is not ready to share its glory with members of the NDC or any other political party.
“We won’t share our glory with the NDC or PNC,” Karbo said adding “they were in the game to win too but Ghanaians gave us an emphatic victory so I don’t see the need for us to share anything with them.
“We have the men who have achieved in their respective rights, we do not need any other people for Akufo-Addo to succeed, we have enough men.”
