We won't use loans for chop-chop - JAK

President Kufuor has charged members of the NDC to stop criticising his Administration for contracting loans from the World Bank, IMF to develop the country.

He subsequently charged them to shut up and stop criticising the Bretton Woods institutions for granting loans to Ghana, adding that, instead, NDC members should be grateful to these institutions for granting loans to the country for its development efforts and project.

According to the DAILY GUIDE, President Kufuor lashed at the NDC for the second time when he cut the sod to begin work on the Mallam-Kasoa road project.

He pointed out that in the world of business, one cannot do without loans explaining that, one has to develop with other people’s money, subsequently, in doing business, one has to go for loans, use them lucratively, repay the principal, and keep the profit.
