Kotoko, Hearts of Oak and many others are set to miss out on the signature of free-kick specialist Kwesi Donsu after his manager revealed he wouldn't sign for any local club.

General manager of Medeama SC Mr. Asirifi confirmed that his player Donsu would secure a move abroad following several approaches from foreign clubs for his service.

The free-kick expert after his sterling performance in the 2015/16 Ghanaian football season has been linked with many local clubs including the two biggest football clubs in the country, Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak.

However, Asirifi in an interview with Kumasi-based Kessben FM confirmed that his player is likely to make a move to England following Middlesbrough’s interest in Donsu.

“There are many clubs outside Ghana who have shown interest in him. We haven’t yet decided on which club he will sign for as we are still weighing the options but for a local club, I’m not sure he will sign for any,” said the Medeama General manager.

Donsu scored 15 goals in the just ended Ghana Premier League 10 of which come from free-kicks and has since become a hot cake for many clubs including Middlesbrough.
