Black Stars will surprise Egypt – Nasamu Yakubu

Goalkeepers trainer of the Black Stars, Nasamu Yakubu Yakubu, believes the Black Stars will upset favourites, Egypt, in the second group game of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

The Black Stars disappointingly drew their opening game against Uganda at the Tamale stadium. The team will need at least a draw to keep their hopes of making a fourth consecutive world cup appearance.

Speaking to Accra-based Asempa FM, a confident Nasamu remarked that” We will surprise Egypt. We have high hopes of doing well in Egypt”.

The astute keeper’s trainer also disclosed that contrary to perceptions that the team has goalkeeping issues, he has absolute trust and confidence in the goalkeeping trident of the team.

He admonished Ghanaians to support the team as they seek to qualify for 2018 world cup.
