RE: 3 deaths enough for NPP's victory - Pius Hadzide

My attention has been drawn to story on the GhanaWeb news portal under the heading " 3 deaths enough for NPP's Victory - Pius Hadzide". I wish to express my outmost disappointment with the Ghana Webs' unprofessionalism and maliciousness and strongly demand a retraction of the said story and also demand an unqualified apology from the news portal for publishing falsehood under a maliciously worded and misleading headline aimed at courting disaffection for me and my party the NPP.
I wish to state as follows;

1. I never spoke to the Ghana Web about the sad and unfortunate incident that occurred in the Central Tongu constituency on Sunday October 23, 2016.

2. The news portal claimed that they "sourced" the story from class fm, whatever that means, but they failed to cross check from me and to get any inputs from me. My checks with class fm however indicate that no comment bearing the slightest semblance to me saying that 3 deaths was enough sacrifice for NPP victory was made by my good self and published by them. That it was very wicked and disrespectful not only to the dead and thier families but indeed an affront to our age old Ghanian custom of showing respect to the dead and mourning with the dead.

3. That the said news portal Ghana Web, has gained notoriety for publishing outright falsehood and fabrications against several hard working and decent persons especially within the NPP, myself being a victim severally.

I wish to restate our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and the NPP during this hard times. Our heart remains with the bereaved families. I advice the Ghana Web news portal to endeavor to become professional in the work and to report fairly and accurately and refrain from politically biased and misleading reportage.
