Afriyie Acquah quashes Bologna transfer rumours

Afriyie Acquah’s agent, Oliver Arthur has quashed rumours linking his client with a surprise switch to Bologna.

Acquah remains one of the most sought-after defensive midfielders in Italian football since sealing a four-year deal to Torino in 2015.

However, recent reports in the Italian media have linked him with a move to Bologna, but his agent maintains that he has had no contact with their management.

“An interest from Bologna? I am not aware, and I have not had contact with the Bologna club,” Arthur told ItaliaCalcio24.

“I have no confirmation of these rumours, but in any case, there is no need to discuss: Afriyie doing well at the Turin and remains their player.”

Acquah is currently engaged in pre-season with Torino ahead of the next Serie A season.
