The Ghana Football Association is yet to take a decision on Sulley Muntari’s recent apology letter for his misconduct in the Black Stars team.

Muntari after two years showed remorse for his unseemly behaviour towards former Black Stars management committee member Moses Armah Parker.

The Al Ittihad midfielder punched the Medeama owner in the face during a bonus roar at the team’s camp in Maceio (Brazil) in 2014, an act which saw him receiving an indefinite suspension from the Black Stars team.

Nyantakyi, who was in the helms of affairs during the incidence, says his outfit is yet to take a decision on the recent remorseful letter by the former AC Milan star.

“I think Ghanaians must forgive him, he has shown remorse, and we must forgive him. He wrote a letter, and the Ghana Football Association has received it, we are yet to meet to take a decision on it,” he told Angel FM.

“He himself has declared his readiness to return to the Black Stars team, but that solely depends on the Coach.”

The 2009 UEFA Champions League winner is undoubtedly one of the most loved Black Stars players in recent times.

He was recently in Ghana to feature in a Unity match played at the Baba Yara and Accra Sports Stadia.
