Joe Gyau set to make injury return at Dortmund

American-born Ghanaian attacker Joseph Claude-Gyau has revealed he is set to return from injury after spending 14 months on the sidelines.

The 23-year-old grandson of late Ghanaian football legend Nana Agyeman Gyau has resumed training at Dortmund and is expected to make a return to the field before the end of the season.

Gyau suffered a problematic injury in December 2014 and has not featured for either Dortmund's first team squad or the reserves but he has now been cleared to resume playing.

He revealed on his official Twitter page he is set to make a return.

Gyau has featured for America at senior level in an international friendly but could still switch allegiance to represent the West African giants.
