Mozambique skipper warns Ghana ahead of AFCON qualifier

Mozambique captain Elias Pelembe has warned the Black Stars they underrate the Mambas at their own peril.

The Os Mambas have no point after two rounds of matches and could be in for a thrashing against the Group H leaders in Accra.

Pelembe, who plays for South African side Bidvest Wits, believes they can spoil Ghana’s run.

“Names do not play football, we are also here to win, we know we are underdogs but we will try very hard,” Pelembe said in a pre-match interview.

“We also have good players and we are here to perform."
