Hearts of Oak’s Burkinabe shot stopper Soulama Abdoulaye says playing and making an impact in the CAF Champions League is the major priority of the team.

According to the former Asante Kotoko goalie, the entire playing body is charged towards this objective and is determined to make it a reality.

Speaking to the media after side’s get together dinner with the Board Chairman of the club, Togbe Afede XIV, on Monday night, Soulama revealed that it will be hard for them to allow the top slot to slip through their fingers.

“We are determined to play and make an impact in the CAF Champions League next season so we need to maintain our form to get there,” Soulama said.

“The playing body is ready to make that dream a reality.”

“But we can only get to the CAF Champions League competition after winning the league so we are not ready to slip after being on top of the table,” he added.

Soulama Abdoulaye has recently received an invite to join the Stallions of Burkina Faso ahead of the 2017 Afcon qualifiers.
