We can beat Kotoko on Sunday- Tom Strand

Medeama SC’s Swede Trainer, Tom Strand has fired a warning at Asante Kotoko ahead their Premier League encounter on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, insisting that his side will not be pushovers.

The former Bechem United and Bechem United coach is under immense pressure from the fans of the Tarkwa based side following a winless start to the 2015/2016 League campaign.

The Mauve and Yellow succumb to a 2-0 at home to Hearts of Oak, which came a 2-1 loss away to Ashgold on the Opening day of the season.

The MTN FA Cup and Super Cup holders travel to Kumasi to battle Kotoko in the top of the bill clash on Sunday and coach Tom Strand has warned his side won’t be pushovers.

“Kotoko are not a special team so we are not afraid of them. We can beat them on Sunday just like we did during the last FA Cup final,” he told the Graphic Sports.

“Management is sad but I don’t think they should because the league has not ended. We still have may matches to play and I believe that anything can happen.”
