Amidu Salifu on the radar of Pro Vercelli

Italian side Pro Vercelli will meet Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade to open talks over a loan move to the club.

The 23-year-old has endured limited playing at Perugia with a mixture of injury problems but Vercelli technical team believe the Sunyani-born will flourish at their club.

Though Salifu is still in Ghana sorting his travel documents, Vercelli officials want to lock a deal with Fiorentina before he travels back to Italy.

Salifu has played just four times for Perugia in the entire first-half of the season.
