Hearts of Oak have called on Ghana Football Association to expedite action on their review case against Asante Kotoko over the Obed Owusu eligibility issue.

The Phobians won the protest after the Disciplinary Committee ruled Kotoko were guilty and the club awarded three points.

But Kotoko won an appeal and regained their docked points but Hearts went back to the Appeals Committee on October 23 for a review of the decision which they described as a “miscarriage of justice and wrongful interpretation of GFA, CAF, and FIFA regulations”.

“After a successful application for the review, we expected to have the ruling before the Ghana Football Association’s Congress on November 9, 2015. However, up to date, we have not received such ruling,” the letter, sighted by the Graphic Sports, read.

It continued: “We are therefore advising that, in the interest of Ghana football, the application should be considered in time to ensure that the legal system and processes work and the matter also comes to rest, especially as the new season is about to begin.

“Please, note that a new season cannot begin if the previous one has not ended, hence the need to expedite the review process,” Hearts warned.
