I might go back to the EPL - Gyan

Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has refused to make a clear indication of a possible return to the English Premier League.

The Ghanaian international has been criticized for his decision to leave Premier League side Sunderland after just one season with the Club.

The 30-year-old could not resist a bumper offer from UAE side Al Ain in 2012 having scored 11 goals in 34 appearances for the Black Cats.

Gyan has received massive criticism from football enthusiast with many describing him as money conscious.

In an interview with Starr FM, the Shanghai SIPG attacker who is regarded as the current highest paid African footballer is uncertain whether he could be making a return to the Premiership.

“I don’t know. Nobody knew I would be playing in China. Maybe I would go back to the (English) Premiership but I don’t know. What I know is I am happy where I am.,” he said.

The former Liberty Professionals forward scored over 50 goals for Ai Aln in his three year stint with the Club.
