Hearts of Oak fans are unhappy with the clubs inactivity in the transfer market ahead of the start of the 2015/16 season.

Scores of Phobian fans vented their fury after witnessing the sides first pre-season game at the Accra Sports Stadium against lower tier side Bright Future Academy on Wednesday.

It was the first time the fans were seeing their new coach Kenishi Yatsuhashi in action.

The fans were however unimpressed with what the saw despite Hearts 2-0 victory.

The likes of Cosmos Dauda from Prestige FC, John Baidoo, former Wa All Stars player Stephen Nyarko, Mustapha Essuman and Justice Annan were some of the new faces that featured for Hearts in the friendly match.

The fans are however asking the clubs management to secure the services of established Premier League performers in order to avoid a repeat of the struggle endured by the team last season.

Hearts were threatened with demotion and needed to fight in the remaining five games of the season to stay afloat.

The fans fear failure of the club to make big name signings especially with the likes of Gilbert Fiamenyo set to exit the club could leave the team thin on quality.

But Board Chairman Togbe Afede XIV insists he will not be committing resources needed for the club to make signings as he did when he first took over the club five years ago.

Hearts appeared set to do their business in the transfer market early with the announced signing of Latif Salifu only for the deal to eventually fall through.

They also announced they had reached an agreement to sign Stephen Adams only for the goalkeeper to sign a new contract at Aduana Stars.
