Produce Buying Company supports Cardio-Centre

Accra July 15, GNA - The Produce Buying Company (PBC) on Tuesday presented a cheque for 10 million cedis to the Cardiothoracic Centre in support of its work.

Mr Emmanuel Owusu Boakye, Managing Director of PBC, said the presentation was to help needy patients including farmers to have access to the Centre.

He said there had been a lot of appeals from the Ghana Heart Foundation urging individuals to support it in their own small way and "this is a token from our company to help all to have access to this facility".

Dr Felix Foder, Anaesthetist, who received the cheque, thanked the donors and urged the public to contribute their quota in every small way to help to meet the needs of patients.
