Mo Ibrahim 'Africa United Cup' match to be launched on Tuesday

Primeval Media in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) will on Tuesday, October 27, at 10:00am, launch the 2015 Mo Ibrahim "Africa United Cup" Match, at Media Center of the Accra Sports Stadium.

The launch is to announce the "Africa United Cup", which forms part of activities earmarked for the celebration of the Annual Governance Weekend.

A statement from the communication outfit of Primeval Media said, the launch will also provide the media with details of the match, the participating teams, activities before and during the match and other details.

The "Africa United Cup" match, under the auspices of Mo Ibrahim Foundation is part of activities earmarked for the Annual Governance Weekend.

The match is aimed at showcasing African talents as well as use football as a tool for promoting unity.

Ghana is the host of the flagship event; Annual Governance Weekend under the Mo Ibrahim Foundation.

The three-day event is fixed Friday, November 20 with an annual leadership ceremony which celebrates Ibrahim Laureates and excellence in African Leadership and ends on Sunday 22nd November at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Primeval Media, last year organised a Farewell match between the Black Stars and a Local Select Side and the Stephen Appiah Testimonial Match and Dinner.
