Inter Allies chief Delali Senaya has backed new coach Herbert Mensah to guide the side to a top-four finish.

The experienced trainer returned to the Tema-based side on a two-year deal on Tuesday.

The former Hearts of Oak coach led the team to 6th position during his spell with the club in the 2013-14 season.

And Inter Allies chief Delali Senaya expects the 70-year-old to guide the team to a top-four finish.

“We will work hard and make him feel at ease to work but not comfortable, you can’t be in Ghana Premier League and be comfortable,” he told Accra-based Starr FM.

“At the same time, we are hoping that the same Herbert that we knew two seasons ago, we want to see the same thing.

“He is an experienced brain so we expect him to lead the team. We seem to be hanging around 6th and 7th so we have to do better, maybe top 4.”
