Local Black Stars Coach to arrive in Ghana on Thursday

Head coach of the local Black Stars Maxwell Konadu will arrive in the country on Thursday to begin preparations for the CHAN qualifier against the Ivory Coast.

Konadu was in the United States of America to aid Avram Grant for Ghana’s international friendly against Canada.

The coach doubles up as the deputy head coach of the Black Stars and also the head coach of Ghana’s home based Black Stars.

The former Wa All Stars and Asante Kotoko trainer was with skipper of the home based side Fatau Dauda in the U.S and both are expected to arrive in the country on Thursday.

The home based Black Stars are seeking to reach next year’s CHAN competition but will have to go through the Ivorians if they are to achieve that feat.
