Plan International holds seminar for Schools

Asesewa (Eastern Region) 23 April, Mrs Christina Obeng, Health Adviser of Plan International, a non-governmental organisation, has said malaria, measles and skin diseases such as yaws, ring worm and scabies have been identified as the priority needs of schools in the Asesewa area. Water and sanitation improvement programmes are therefore being introduced by Plan International to reduce the incidence of such diseases in the area. She was addressing a five-day workshop on health productive promotion programme for 12 schools in the Asesewa area organised by Plan International and the Ghana Education Service.
