Kotoku Royals FC petitions GFA over bitten player

Kotoku Royals FC based has petitioned the Ghana Football Association (GFA), over the biting of their defender, Stephen Amankwah in their 25th week away fixture against D’ International FC in the GN Bank Division One League at Tema.

The Akim Oda base club is yet to receive any information regarding sanctions taken by the FA against Michael Acquah, the D’ International FC player who is alleged to have deliberately btiten Amankwah.

Sources close to the GNA Sports indicates that, the club filed the petition a week ago and anxiously waiting for the outcome.

The incident happened in the 89th minute of the match, when Michael Acquah bite the chest of Amankwah leading to the former's expulsion from the match.

It occurred as a result of a tussle in the penalty box of Kotoku Royals FC, when the home team was about to effect a free-kick.

The source revealed that Amankwah was in good condition after receiving several treatment.

The match ended 3-2 in favour of the homers, D’ International FC.
