OSU CHURCH - ELEVATED

A Special Service has been held in Accra to elevate the Osu-North Presbyterian Church to a sub-district status. The service was also used to induct the Rev. Nii Narh Yeboah, as the first sub-district pastor. The Osu-North Presbyterian church had since 1975 been under the supervision of the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church at Osu. With its new status, the church now becomes autonomous. The Acting Chairman of the Ga Presbytery, the Rev. Mr. E.D. Tettey, who performed the ceremonies, reminded the members of the challenges that lie ahead. He, therefore called on them to unite in their effort to meet those challenges. The Rev. Mr. Tettey advised the members to support their Pastors in every way so that together, they can forge ahead. On his part, the Rev. Mr.. Yeboah called on the members to guard against divisive tendencies, which retard progress. gri
