Invite Muntari to the commission â?? Moses Armah

Moses Armah – a member of the Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has urged the Justice Senyo Dzamafe Commission, to invite Sulley Muntari to explain his conduct at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

“My Lord, Muntari should be invited to the commission to state his side of the story, because his conduct was unprofessional.

“He must explain to the commission why he attacked me because it was a major surprise to me and other management members,” Moses Armah, also known as “Moses Parker” told the Justice Dzamefe commission on Thursday.

According to Armah, he was physically assaulted by Muntari without any provocation and wondered why the player did that.

He said, the conduct of the player had a psychological effect on him as he had since been mocked in public and on radio stations but added he has forgiven the player.

He said, he had been a fan of Muntari for years and had a photograph with him hanged in his room and therefore has since found the heart to forgive the player.

Armah, noted that, he was a Christian and serious business man, who had many issues to deal with hence his decision to forgive the player.

According to Armah, he received calls from the father of the player and brother of Muntari’s wife asking him to forgive the player for his conduct adding that he took all those calls into consideration before granting the player pardon.

Armah, said, Muntari must be made apologised to the GFA and the entire nation adding that, he is a quality player whose presence in the team will strengthen the playing body.

The executive Ccmmittee member also apologised to the entire nation for his reaction to the conduct of Munatri.

“I think I should not have reacted to his attack. I lost my temper in an attempt to defend myself,” he stated.
