Extortion and Marginalization In Police Service

Junior Police Officers Unhappy?THEY ACCUSE SENIOR OFFICERS OF ?CHOPPING? THEIR ALLOWANCES AT NPP CONGRESS

The FREE PRESS can authoritatively confirm that all is not well at the police headquarters.

Over three hundred junior personnel of the police service who were selected for the Special Operation Squad (SOS) training in Cuba are still at the police headquarters without any provision for accommodation.

The irate junior personnel, according to the paper, have expressed anger over what they described as extortion and marginalization by their senior officers.

Meanwhile, police personnel detailed for duty at the NPP Congress in Takoradi have not been paid the agreed allowance of ?150,000 for the three days the congress lasted.
