Be cautious about mushroom tertiary institutions

-Mr. Micheal Asare, Chief Executive Officer of WAMB Educational Consult and Foundation in Kumasi , has cautioned Senior High School Graduates in the country about the spring up of mushroom tertiary institutions in the country.

Mr. Asare made the cautioned on Wednesday when he was addressing final year students of Adanwomase Senior High School in the Kwabre East District of the Ashanti Region at a programme dubbed Next Level Conference which was organised by WAMB Educational Foundation and Consult.

He expressed worry about the way such educational institutions which had no accreditation were becoming more in the country.

He appealed to the authorities of education in the country be up and doing to close down all mushroom institutions in the country since they were cheating the young generation in the country.

Mr. Asare, advised those who want to continue their education after SHS to do more search about tertiary educational institutions they wish to attend from the accreditation board website before buying tertiary forms.

Mr. Williams Boakye-Baafi, Programmes Director of WAMB Educational Consult and Foundation and also an old student of Adanwomase SHS, entreated the students to make good use of opportunities they might have at their disposal in the school to improve on their knowledge in life.

He said they should build positive relationships with any person they might come in contact with in life since it was one of the best way they could move to the next level in life since it was positive contacts which were ruling the world.

Mr. Acheampong, headmaster of Adanwomase SHS, commended the officials of WAMB Educational Consult and Foundation for organising such educative programme for the students and encouraged them to do same for other schools in the region particularly so called community schools.
