Mintah resigns as Dwarfs head coach,

J E Sarpong to take over

Professor J.K. Mintah quit his role as head coach of Ghana Premier League side Ebusua Dwarfs, according to Accra-based Happy FM.

GHANAsoccernet.com revealed on Monday about the tactician’s frustration with Dwarfs’ management style and was angling for a quit.

Veteran coach J.E. Sarpong has arrived in Tarkwa and will be in the stands to watch the Mysterious Club in action against Medeama SC in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday ahead of the takeover.

Professor Mintah furiously expressed his displeasure with his inability to travel with Dwarfs for their CAF Confederations second-leg 4-0 defeat against Angolan side Petro Atletico de Luanda, and asked not to be associated with the humiliating defeat.

The University of Cape Coast Psychology lecturer is set to focus his attention on his role as Black Stars’ psychologist.
