USA congratulates Ghana on 57th anniversary

The United States of America's Embassy in Ghana has sent a congratulatory message to President John Dramani Mahama and Ghanaians as a whole on the 57th independence anniversary to be marked Thursday, March 6.

Ghana will mark the anniversary at the Black Stars Square.

“On behalf of the Embassy, we offer our heartfelt congratulations and sincere best wishes for a safe and bountiful 57th year,” a statement from the Embassy on Wednesday said.

“Given our long history of friendship and cooperation, we look forward to continued cooperation between the United States of America and the Republic of Ghana for the mutual benefit of our peoples,” the statement indicated.

It called for growth and prosperity for Ghana in the coming year.
