Jordan ends goal drought in Sochaux win

Ghana striker, Jordan Ayew has finally ended his goal drought after scoring the first goal for Sochaux against Bordeaux in the French Ligue One on Saturday night.

The Olympic Marseille loanee came off the bench in the 68th minute and made an instant impact by breaking the deadlock just two minutes after his introduction.

That was Jordan’s first goal for Sochaux after eight appearances and second for the 2013/2014 season. His first Ligue One goal of the season was recorded in November 2013 when Marseille drew 1-1 at Stade Rennes.

He is gunning for a place in Ghana’s squad for the 2014 World Cup. The son of the African football legend, Abedi Pele has been invited for Ghana’s friendly match with Montenegro on March 5
