NPP scared to see Mahama’s gov’t succeed - Alhaji Naziru

Many have advised and warned that the appointment of the former BBC Presenter, Ben Dotse Malor, as Senior Communication Adviser and Head of Communications at the Presidency will not resolve the problem with communication in Mahama’s government due to a lack of coordination among the various communication machinery.

The National Women’s Organizer of the New Patriotic Party, Otiko Afisa Djaba, for instance, implored President John Dramani Mahama and his government to put in place mechanisms that would develop the economy instead of merely appointing new Presidential staffers.

But a member of the communication machinery of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Mohammed Naziru, asserts the opposition NPP is troubled that Mr. Dotse’s appointment will help President Mahama succeed in his developmental agenda.

Touching on the credentials of Mr. Dotse Malor, Naziru Mohammed averred on OKAY FM's 'Ghana Decides’ program that the opposition NPP are uncomfortable due to the rich resources Mr. Dotse Malor’s appointment brings to President Mahama’s government; hence their ploy to rubbish the appointment with the excuse of economic hardship in the country.

“……with analysis of this issue about Malor’s appointment, one can conclude clearly that NPP is troubled with the rich resources the man is bringing to Mahama’s administration…it is clear to me why no member of NPP has commended the President for appointing Malor Dotse; their objection to the appointment clearly shows that it is a good thing President Mahama has done to help his government move forward,” he asserted.
