BusyInternet ushered into CIMG Hall of Fame

BusyInternet has been adjudged the nation's Best Internet Service Provider (ISP) for 2012 at the 24th Annual Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana award (CIMG) ceremony held recently in Accra.

This is the fourth consecutive time the company has been honoured with the CIMG ISP award for its continuous contribution towards providing quality, efficient, reliable and affordable service to corporate bodies, Small and medium Enterprises (SMEs) as well as individuals.

The Award ushers the Company into the CIMG Hall of Fame.

Mr Praveen Sadalage, Managing Director of the Company, who told journalists in Accra on Wednesday explained that the first recognition was given by the Ministry of Communications in 2008/2009, which selected BusyInternet as the best ISP Company followed by the four honours in that category by the CIMG in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.

“This brings to bare our commitment towards complementing government’s effort towards improving economic activities and growth of SMEs as well as increasing broadband internet and data storage services access and its usage that readily meets the needs of corporate institutions,” he said.

Mr Sadalage said the company was proud to be associated with the steady growth and access to internet service in the country, which had risen according to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) report, which indicates that one out of ten people had access to internet and currently one out of seven persons has access.

Mr. Theodore Agborli, the Marketing Manager expressed the company’s readiness to join others internet service providers towards supporting governments to making internet service mandatory universal by 2015.

“Our focus is on commitment, to delivering high quality service which has enabled our corporate clients to perform better, “he said.

Mr Agborli said BusyInternent would remain focused on delivering its core mandate to the public and that management was committed to support innovative to constantly providing reliable, high speed, affordable and convenient service to its clients always.
