Nana Addo's constant medical checkup should guide leaders - Omari Wadie

Nana Akufo-Addo’s public announcement of medical checkup, according to Michael Omari Wadie, should rather be encouraged so that other leaders will see the need for everyone to go for medical checkups to boost productivity.

He added that Nana Akufo-Addo is very particular about his health as such, others must be encouraged to take a lesson from what he is doing; stressing that it is no doubt that Nana Addo is advancing in age, but the good thing is that God has blessed him with strength, and also despite his age, he is always found exercising in his house.

He reiterated that, during the 2012 campaign, when some of the young men were panting, Nana Addo was exhibiting his strength because of his constant exercising and medical checkup.

Speaking on Okay FM, he said good leaders should always check on their health, stressing that, people must not get sick before they go for treatment, but must have constant proper medical checkups which is good for productivity in the country.

He recounted that human beings are like machines and as they advance in age, there are certain parts which must be worked on constantly; in that, the only way to monitor the system of the body is to have proper medical checkups.

The former NPP chairman aspirant, however, called on the government to encourage the ministers, the MP’s and Ghanaians in general, to have constant checkups in order to increase productivity.
