Statement: Antrak begins operations on new domestic route

Antrak Air is pleased to announce to the general public that, for the first time, it will begin daily flights between Kumasi and Tamale with effect from Monday, January 28, 2013.

This is in response to the numerous requests from members of the public, who have had to endure not only the long and tiring journey but also the continuing risk of highway robbery on the Kumasi-Tamale road. While Antrak hopes to increase the frequency on that route in the near future, the initial service will be an afternoon 50-minute flight that departs Kumasi at 1450GMT, with the return leg departing Tamale at 1600GMT. Antrak begins the service with a promotional fare of just GHS100 one-way, from January 28th to February 28th.
