La Palm Opens Executive Membership Lounge

Starting this weekend, La Palm Royal Beach Hotel will be the venue for a new up-market social membership club where people of distinction can relax and unwind in an ambient atmosphere of comfort and class.

From Friday, December 14 through to Sunday, December 16, 7:45, a new exclusive Polo & Golf, Lounge, Bar and Restaurant will mark its official opening at La-Palm Royal Beach Hotel’s Damba 3 Hall, which would be accessible through its second entrance.

“The executive lounge (7.45) is designed as a combination of entertainment venue, social club and bar, where corporate executives, senior government executives, entrepreneurs, business people, professionals and other high networth individuals and upwardly mobile men and women can relax and unwind while engaging in social networking with each other,” a statement from the hotel emphasized.

According to management of La Palm, the elite lounge is primarily a membership club, although non-members can be granted admission for an entrance fee.

As an elite recreational venue, it offers live entertainment, diverse food menu, as well as snacks, a wide selection of drinks including cocktails and a world class D.J. to provide music.

Corporate and individual members will enjoy preferential seating and free entrance for themselves and a certain number of guests depending on their membership category, said officials of the premium hotel.

The membership is arranged such that the highest category, Prestige Platinum costs US$1,500 per annum for membership and allows the member to bring in five guests at a time without entrance fee.

Other membership categories are Platinum (US$1,000, four guests), Gold (US$750, three guests), Silver (US$500, two guests) and Premium (US$250, one guest). Importantly members will also enjoy discounted room rates at the hotel.

“Fridays at 7:45 are designed as an executive night with an international dance theme. Saturdays will feature a performing artiste, house music and dance music. Sundays shall feature performing artistes and will offer a buffet,” the release from the hotel said.

“7.45 promises on relaxed atmosphere of class and finesse for social luminaries that choose to join this unique and distinguished recreational fraternity.”
