NPP Final Rally: Ghanaians will tell Mahama: "you dey go k3k3" - Akufo-Addo

The final rally of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) just ended at the Efua Sutherland Children's Park

UPDATES:

Nana Akufo-Addo: Ghanaians will use their thumbs to bring back hope into the country. The NPP is determined to transform Ghana's economy. It will make Ghanaians part of the new economy. The NPP will give Ghana a strong cedi. "The money under the table has become sweet for them so they are determined to stay", he said.

"We are going to develop a competitive labour force by providing for every single child in our country free SHS. We know we can do it because it must be done, it can be done and we will do it," he said

He said the NPP "will revive the NHIS so that it can work for every single Ghanaian. Every single Ghanaian will have access to quality health care." Our opponent's response to our campaign is in two folds.

He said the Ghanaian people are going to tell the NDC that "You dey go k3k3. The worst Republic of the 4th Republic of Ghana."

He said the NPP will build on the foundation that Kufuor left for the people. Every Ghanaian will participate in the process.  He said an NPP government will not be vindictive but rather inclusive to all.

Former President John Agyekum Kufuor: The crowd brings back nostalgic feelings. The wind blowing indicates that NPP is coming back on Friday. God has given Ghana everything but what is left to transform Ghana is leadership. You don't become a leader because you come from a party that has tricks or if you are handsome. He said apart from Busia and the NPP under his tutelage, Ghana lacked leadership. They formulated far reaching policies.

He attributed the the repeal of the Criminal Libel Law to allow people to speak out free. A free man is the best factor for production. He says they transformed their economy. He said the HIPC initiative transformed Ghana. He said whether the NDC likes it or not, it was under their leadership that crude oil was found. The NDC has been spending Ghana's money by heart. Most Ghanaians will vote for Nana Akufo-Addo and the NPP on Friday.

Akufo-Addo has a very good team which will help him solve Ghana's problems. The NDC can't dream but are ridiculing the NPP's ideas. The right leadership is coming. He said under Nana Akufo-Addo there will be real transformation.

Samira Bawumia: They are spending Ghanaians money. Vote Nana Akufo-Addo come Friday.  Nana Akufo-Addo is promising us development  through   jobs and his free SHS educational policy.

Mrs.  Rebecca Akufo-Addo also says all should vote for his husband and the party’s   parliamentary candidates.

Party General Secretary Owusu Afriyie (Sir John): Tells  the police service to be vigilant so that no one can intimidate voters during this elections. He said everyone should their their votes early and afterwards they should remain at the polling station to witness whatever will go on there. All party supporters should wear their party attire tomorrow to show them that we are well prepared.

Abu Ramadan,  the PNC National Youth Organiser: has called on the party supporters to vote massively for the presidential candidate of the NPP Nana Akufo-Addo.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia: Says it’s time for a change. The NDC has failed Ghanaians in the last three and half years. After 19 years of the PNDC and NDC the economy of the country has always taking a nose dive but the 8 years of the NPP under former president Kufuor was better. Ghana will see progress under Nana Akufo-Addo so I’m urging all party supporters to come out in their numbers and vote massively for the NPP  to move the forward.

Nana Akomea: Says even though President Mahama said he will make Community SHS free in 2008, the party has been unable to do it. He said since he obtained free SHS, he as no right to tell others not go for free SHS. He said judgement debts can pay for the free SHS.

Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey: Says the NDC has failed to fulfill any promise they made but has rather stolen moneys and shared it among its cronies such as CP and Woyome. He says Ghanaians should sack the NDC. He says the party will promote jobs.

Yaw Osafo Maafo: Says the NDC should say what they can do and not run down the NPP's promise. He said Nkrumah did not role out free SHS after building schools so the NDC's argument is flawed.

Sheikh I.C. Quaye: Free SHS shows that Nana Addo has spiritual wisdom as he cares for children. He said seeking of knowledge is an obligation on all. In heaven there are no stealers.

Alan Kyeremanteng: People should look at the track record of both parties and vote for the NPP. He says having worked with Nana Addo for sometime, he is certain that Nana Akufo-Addo deserves to be president. The next president of Ghana is Nana Akufo-Addo

Kennedy Agyapong: Says all-die-be-die on December 7. He said the NDC is plotting mayhem and called on the people to stay at the polling station until the the result are announced. Says anyone who attempts to steal ballot boxes will have themselves to blame.

Moctar Bamba, National Organiser: Says the NPP will bring its own security on the election day because the police and the army are corrupted. He said the NDC is planning to come in with machetes and guns but they will growth the Lord.

Abu Jinapor: Said the NDC is plotting to rig the election because they cannot win fairly and called on the supporters to be vigilant.

Samuel Awuku: Urges supporters to come out in their numbers to vote.
