People, some carrying their children and waving miniature flags, lined up the streets to catch a glimpse of the former president. The crowd burst into hilarious joy when two police dispatch riders leading the convoy approached the main Tanoso township.

The crowd was so huge that the security personnel had a hectic moment controlling it.

He was met on arrival by NDC Parliamentary candidate for Techiman South,Adjei Mensah, and some regional executives of the National Democratic Congress led by the regional chairman,Opoku Atuahene

"We should not allow any kind of provocation from people that can lead to violence",he advised

"Let us make sure the election would be free and fair so that the elections would be accepted....when we corrupt the electoral process,it can lead to massive instability
