Expose war-mongers- Akufo-Addo prays to God

Flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has prayed to God to expose all unpatriotic citizens of the land who have plans to use the upcoming national elections to throw the country into chaos.

He said it is the wish and desire of the NPP, the party he is leading to the December elections, for Ghana's peace to be protected before, during and after the polls to select the country's next president.

“My prayer is that the almighty God will expose all those wicked people that are planning to cause trouble in the country before we go to the polls on December 7,” Nana prayed, amidst shouts of “Amen”.

He was addressing a large crowd that jammed the Baba Yara stadium in Kumasi yesterday when the NPP collaborated with churches in the region to organize a non-denominational church service for peaceful polls in Ghana this year.

Displaying his commitment to peace, the NPP flag bearer assured Ghanaians that his party loves peace, see a prosperous Ghana where all the citizens would have their peace.

He lamented over the hardship Ghanaians are facing, which has come about due to the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC's) poor leadership, insisting that “this is not a continuation of the good works that Kufuor brought to Ghana.”

Nana Akufo-Addo prayed to God to show His favour on the NPP so that the party would win the upcoming polls and implement its better programmes such as the free SHS for all to benefit.

He promised that his government programmes to eliminate the current situation whereby only children that are from affluent homes have the opportunity to go to school.

He called on Ghanaians to endeavour to protect the peace at all cost saying that without peace his better programmes and plans about the country could not be implemented.

Nana Akufo-Addo however stated emphatically that though the NPP stands for peace its members would not allow themselves to be intimidated or cheated by any political entity in the elections.

The NPP leader stated that as president, he would do everything humanly possible to make Ghana a prosperous country where the citizens would do their legally chosen work in peace.
