Mahama World Bank Account Is A Lie -Veep

DON’T DECIEVE GHANAIANS INDIVIDUALS DON’T SAVE AT THE WORLD BANK

Vice President Amissah-Arthur has dismissed rumors that the sitting President John Mahama and his wife Lordina have stolen state monies and is hiding them in an account in the World Bank in Switzerland.

He made the statement in his interaction with the staff and students of Denkyira Nursing Training School and asked the students not to be deceived by such untruth.

He said as a former deputy finance minister and a former governor of the central bank of Ghana, he can authoritatively say that no individual can save with the word bank but rather countries and wondered why such an information can be put out there in the public domain to deceive people and that at the appropriate time they would respond

This was a publication by one Pierre Wimhoven of the Associated Press News(APN)concerning President Mahama hiding $170 million in foreign Bank ccounts. In the said article the writer alleges that President John Mahama and his wife Mrs Lordina Mahama are hiding money to the tune of $170 Million in a Swiss bank account. It is alleged in the said article that, angry World Bank and IMF officials are contemplating to suspend aid to Ghana. According to Pierre Wimhoven of the Associated Press News(APN)

So currently they are investigating the current President of Ghana President John Dramani Mahama and his wife Mrs Lordina Mahama for the embezzlement of 170 million dollars of loans and grants given to Ghana since 2010 and the deposit of these monies in bank accounts in Switzerland.

He also used the occasion to respond to NPP’s criticism of the NDC government of establishing two new public universities without providing the entire required infrastructure for beginning a fully fledged university. He cited how Mfantsipim, the University of Ghana and others begun.

He said a second term government will provide the school with more facilities to enhance teaching and learning. This is because he and the NDC believe and have faith in the Ghanaian.

Central Regional Minister Ama Benyiwa Doe who accompanied the vice president throughout said the NPP when in power for eight years tried in vain to achieve single digit inflation. But now that the NDC has been able to do it and sustain it for about two years through prudent management of the economy are trying desperately to rubbish it.

She said because the NPP has no message the for the people only mount political platforms and insult members of the NDC. Madam Benyiwa Doe asked the people to vote massively for the NDC. Vice President Amissah-Arthur introduced the parliamentary candidates for Upper Denkyira East and Upper Denkyira West Dr Mark Nawaane and Ackah Yankey.
